Motorcycle DYNO ANALYSIS
3 BASELINE RUNS, 3 MORE AIR RUNS, 3 LESS AIR RUNS, and
PRINT OUTS. The base line run will show your current
state of tuning. The MORE AIR and LESS AIR RUNS are
quick simple tests that can possibly show where to start
at as far as jetting goes.
While this is no where near
what is all involved in Dyno Tuning, and we strongly
recommend that you have us spend the time that is
required to do the necessary jet changes, exhaust
modifications, etc that are required for proper tuning,
these simple tests can be a good start for someone who
simply wants to know the output of their bike or wants
to try their own hand at tuning
The charts show the base line runs, along with the
more air/less air runs on a slightly modified . 1986
FXWG, we can provide this service for any make or model
motorcycle Roll on, Fast Acceleration and All Gear
19, 22, 23, are base line runs.. Runs 24, 26
and 29 are more Air Runs which clearly show
an increase in power... Runs 30, 32 and 33
are less Air Runs...From these charts it
could be assumed that this bike is running
rich and should have leaner jets installed.
while again this is NOT the complete answer
as far as tuning goes, it is where we would
most likely start on this bike. Simple jet
changes alone are not the complete answer as
far as tuning goes. To give you idea of what
is involved, It is not unusual for us to
have 50-75 runs before we are done tuning a
bike. This package will just give you a
basic idea of where the bike is and which
direction to go. We can of course, do the
complete job for you, if desired. We have
